How can you schedule a work order for multiple resources by using the Schedule Board?

I would like to know how you can schedule a work order for multiple resources by using the Schedule Board?

When you plan the work order you can drag a work order form the unscheduled work order list to the Schedule Board and a Resource Booking is created.

Is it possible to plan this work order for a second or third resource by using drag and drop in the Schedule Board or by using a copy function?

Thanks in advance!

I checked out your reply on the other blog post. Sounds like a good solution for some cases.

Unfortunately I don't think that is going to be a solution for me.

Like you already said, this only works when the resource groups are pretty static.

If they are always different, you need to be able to quickly schedule a Work Order for multiple resources and create your own "resource groups" for every specific situation.

Luckily we fixed this by creating our own custom html5 schedule board with a copy paste function.

Thanks for the hint about RSO, I'll keep that in mind.

    Hi,

I think it is possible what you're looking for.

I just answered a similar question here:

Remember, when you're going to use RSO, there are extra licence cost of ~ 30 USD/Bookable Resource enabled for RSO.

I don't believe it is but I might be wrong.

I'm glad the Resource Scheduling optimisation is close enough to what you need though.

Please click on "yes" to confirm this response has helped you.

Let us know how you get on.

    All the best,

    Thanks for your feedback Mohamed.

This is not exactly what I was looking for, but it does look very interesting. I'm going to give it a try!

Just to be sure, to plan multiple resources to a work order manually by using the schedule board (copy/paste or drag/drop) is not possible?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Tom,

Would the resource scheduling optimisation help you with this requirement?

    Have a look here:
