Issue with Outlook Teams Meeting Link When Tracked with Dynamics 365

Hello everyone,

I'm encountering an issue that I hope someone here might have come across and can help with. Whenever I sendt out a Microsoft Teams meeting invitation through Outlook and tracks it using the Dynamics 365 plugin, the Teams meeting link gets converted into a plain text field.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. We're trying to ensure that recipients can simply click on the link to join the Teams meeting, but this issue is causing a bit of a disruption

Below are a few guesses from our team about your issue that may help you resolve it.

Have you tried to see if the link to create a meeting works without tracking with the Dynamics 365 plugin, if the link works then it may be due to your Dynamics 365 plugin, please check your plugin's settings. If the link still doesn't work after removing the plugin, there may be a problem with the Teams add-in in Outlook, please troubleshoot according to the documentation in the link below.

Also, according to the article below, if you are using "outlook.com" instead of corporate email, Teams meetings will not be created by default, Skype meetings will be created.

Hi!

I'm having the same issue as you are. I had to resend three Teams links for meetings that were tracked, as the attendees couldn't access the link once the meeting was tracked.

If you find a solution below, please reply! I will do the same.

Hi

We have one user that also experiences this. All the url's are being stripped away in a sense and as the starter says - leaving plain text.. This includes the Click here to join this meeting--
Teams meeting links are not effected unless the the meeting is tracked and as far as I can see there are no settings in the Dynamics 365 plugin that can be changed to avoid this.
