'Convert to Work Order' button missing from Case ribbon

Posted on by 70

I am having extreme difficulty finding the 'Convert to Work Order' button for cases. It's just missing from the ribbon - I can see the relevant process is activated and I can see the label text in the Ribbon Workbench but it will not display in any shape or form. We're on Field Service 7.5.xx currently which I believe is out of date but I don't seem to have the option to upgrade. Can anyone point me in the right direction here? Thanks.

Thanks so much Akash, this fixed it! I ended up having to contact support as I kept getting a 'Forbidden' response when running the cmdlet but after MS provisioned the update on their end the missing button has appeared. Thanks again, really appreciate it.

    Hi Partner,

you need to upgrade the Field service to Unified interface version i.e.FS 8.x by following the article cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../

Convert to work order button will be available only in UCI Interface
