How to use Query created in AOT as Datasource to grid

Hi There, I have scenario where Grid need to bind to Query creatd in AOT (not in X++). I have below queries 1) How to create Query with group by/Sum/Avg fields? 2) How to bind these fields created to grid? Thank you.

    1) Right-click Fields node in the query and choose New > AVG or New > SUM. "Group by" is set under query's Group By node.

    2) Drag the query to form's "Data Sources" node - normal data sources will be created automatically and you can use them as usual. I think this feature was introduced in AX2009.

    Thakns Martin,

    Am able to create query to bind data to grid showing sum of particular columns, i have drafted my requirement in below grids

    1st grid displays consolidated i.e. sum of records and i want 2nd grid below to display individual records for selected row in 1st grid.

    1) Can i use same query to display it ( both grid have same datasource) ?

    2) I tried but it showing sum of records only

    3) How can i achieve same?

    1st grid
    Id Total Qty Total Price
    1 200 250
    2nd Grid
    Id Type of Qty Qty Price
    1 ABC 150 150
    1 XYZ 50 100
