Can anyone advise as to the Tax requirements for Tanzania. Our customer is requiring to create a new company (Tanzania) in their existing GB database.

Hi Pauline,
I understand that our end customer want to create a new company in their existing NAV GB database which can handle Tanzanian tax structure. This cannot be done on their existing NAV database.
- A Dynamics NAV database with GB localization will only contain local tax policies for GB. Adding NAV localization of other countries to the same database is not supported by Microsoft.
- Dynamics NAV localization for Tanzania is not available
What can be done:
- A partner can discuss with your end customer and can customize the existing NAV GB database to also take care of Tanzanian tax policies
- This could be a very complex procedure as it can impact many areas within the GB company in NAV
- If there are any partners who have created a Dynamics NAV localization for NAV, our end customer can buy the version and can bring in the customization in to their existing database or create a new NAV database altogether for Tanzania
- I did a quick research for partners who have developed a Dynamics NAV localization for Tanzania but couldn't find any
Dear Pauline we have done a lots of nav implimentation in tanzania. there no tax complications in tanzania i think it can be done. we use w1 but

So are you saying that the setup/calculation etc in a GB version will handle the Tanzanian requirements?
What about reporting the VAT, can this be carried out through a standard Nav GB Statement?
