Additional exchange rate type for foreign currency revaluation not working

I am trying to use the new Additional exchange rate type for foreign currency revaluation feature that was released as part of 10.0.39, to revalue AP and AR using a specific rate instead of the rate specified in ledger setup. The feature is enabled and I can see and use the setup, however when I run a revaluation it is still using the rate from the ledger settings. Is there other set up that could be missing, or what should I do next?

Hi,

Yes, simulation doesn't work and Microsoft knows about it and they will fix this, however I would request you to raise this to Microsoft as a ticket to get an official comms from their end.

Thanks Paul, that was sort of helpful.

What I found is that simulation does not use the new rate, but the actual posting does. However if you print the report that is optional on the posting the rate shown is the ledger rate and not the new rate. In short the new feature works but not well.
