Hi All - I've hit a problem within Customer Service - specifically, the Customer Service Workspace app (CSW) - however I think the issue at heart is not CS-specific; rather, that it concerns IFRAMEs.
Within Customer Service Workspace, one can open a page on a website within an Agent's 'Session' (e.g., a session pertaining to a phonecall). All good, except that the highlighted is presenting a huge barrier - as most third-party sites are **not** configured for iframe hosting. On the contrary, most are setup to explicitly deny such requests. (One can of course approach a domain owner and ask them to apply an exception to their site's Content Security policy - but the more sites one needs to incorporate within a journey, the less efficient such an approach concomitantly becomes).
Given this reality, what alternatives are there - specifically, within a CSW context?:
1. Is there a way to 'switch' the target for presenting a website - from a tab within the CSW session, to a tab outside of CSW / on the web browser?
1b. Agent Script of Type=Text - these don't seem to support HTML tags like <a> - or is there a way to make this work?
2. Application Tab Templates of Type=Custom - could I build a Custom page that in turn launched the required url - but here, without iframe hosting?
Any insight re. the above would be very, very helpful.
Thank you,
Tamim Sadikali.
