Hi everyone,

Can someone help me when assigning a team to a project and structuring a schedule to a project then assigning the ressources to tasks, how can a worker find his tasks in the timesheets without selecting activity or adding lines and without favorites knowing that assignment doesn't work by copying. In other words as a worker, i want in just a clic finding all tasks assigned to me in projects without choosing it and just entering my hours?

Best regards

09/10/19: The following error message is generated when one of my team members attempts to create a timesheet in AX from his stored favorites ... "TRI-067079 is not associated to project 6805" where 'TRI-067079 references a specific timesheet and '6805' is a project ID.  Can you please decipher the problem this message relates?

    Hi Ameni,

There is actually no configuration required.

The only thing you need to take of is ensuring to record the time for the employee who has the tasks assigned.

If you have already ensured that, ask a developer taking a look into this to ensure that it might not be related to a system issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ameni,

I tested that once again and the copy function just copies over the assignments that have been made to your user. That is if a task assignment has been made in the project team and scheduling section this will copy over to the timesheet.

This does, however, not mean that you cannot enter other activities that have been assigned to other people. If you want to have this kind of limitation you have to make use of XDS or make some other modifications.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ameni,

When you open a timesheet then there is a copy from field available in the middle of the screen where you can select 'assignments'.

    Hi Ameni,

Are you familiar with the following whitepaper that describes this process and the available standard functionalities in detail?
