Update AX 2012 R3 CU10 to R3 CU13

Hi,

Heres my setup:

OS: Windows Server 2012R2

DB: SQL Server 2012

AX: AX 2012 R3 CU10

Tiers:

Server1: Database Server

Server2: Client and AOS

Server3: Report Server

I want to update my setup to:

OS: Windows Server 2016

DB; SQL Server 2016

AX: 2012 R3 CU13

What process should I follow to take all my customisations in AOT to the new setup?

    I would say it's a 2 step process, first get CU 13 on old set up, merge all the code and confirm that you have not break anything, literally as per steps you have. Then move to a new server, don't try to do everything in one go otherwise you won't know if issues are caused by new CU or by new servers.

    Hi MYGz,

    You should first upgrade on the current setup and then move it to new sever.
