Hello
Ho to reserve item in PO ?
while i am trying to reserving through PO fast tab Inventory > Maintain > Reservation. there reservation field is non entry.

Hi Basha,
Can you explain what you would reserve here? Usually the PO is created for inbound goods. At outbound orders (sales or PO return) you can reserve from the on-hand or ordered items.

Well i want to know functionality for why they kept PO fast tab Inventory > Maintain > Reservation. whether its working for purchase return or we can use for Purchase order.
You need to reserve it from the source order - so the Sales Order can reserve on order items if configured, but you cannot reserve backwards.
The maintain is to cancel it I believe and for a purchase return which ships goods (like a sales order) and therefore reservation is relevant. It cannot be used for the purchase order.
