Hi,
I see some posts where people have managed to get Marketing form capture to pull Wordpress forms in but there aren't many details on it unfortunately. I've got a client who has a Wordpress Gravity Form that we need to capture submissions for in Marketing. I've had them apply the form script generated by Marketing but I can't get past the initial form mapping section in the wizard due to a couple errors:
1. "You have exceeded the maximum number of 150000 characters in this field." - This error shows up at the bottom of the Capture a Form wizard when it pulls in the forms from the webpage. It doesn't tell me which field it's referring to and I'm also assuming it's referring to fields in the webpage code or is it referring to fields in Dynamics?
2. "Attribute "id" is not unique. We cannot capture form that does not have unique "id" attribute or combination of name, method, action attributes" - This one has me concerned that this won't work with Gravity Forms. I think it's looking for a traditional "id" for the form like you would have in form HTML but I'm not sure that Gravity Forms have this. If there is no ID, what are the options?
This ended up being a bug with Microsoft. Basically it has to do with the length of the page where the form resides. The only workarounds offered by Microsoft were to either move forms to separate pages or implement conditional rendering on the page where the forms reside.
