Rich Text in appointment Description, showing HTML code in the View

Hoping for some help.

I have turned Rich text on in Appointment Description but when this appears in the My Activity View it is showing HTML code, even though when opening the record it appears fine (see below) . I have only turned on Rich Text editing in the appointment as i was getting the HTML code load in the Purpose (description) field post save, so trying to fix that error.

Has anyone experienced this before and know how i can fix it. I am happy to go back to plain text in my description field if I can work out why it keeps adding the code to the field.
