Hi
How would i go about putting units of measure back together in full warehousing
The Purchase order is for Each, and it is WH received in each as that is what was on the PO, i need to put pallets away though, how would i do a put away in pallets from my receiving bin which is in units? (Or is there a better / different way of doing this?)
The PO must stay in each however the process beyond that is flexible
Anyone done something like this before?
Thanks
Nev

There is also a field on the warehousing tab of the item card with "Put Away Unit of Measure"
Setting this to pallets had the system take the units and place the pallets line with the conversion happening automaticlly
Ok, figured it out,
On the put away worksheet is a function called change unit of measure, this is used to change the UOM up (Units to Pallets) as it is being put away, this is also available on the movement card
The process to change the UOM up while an item is in a bin is to create a movement where the source bin and destination bin is the same, then use the function to convert the UOM, this will take it out in the old UOM and put it back in the new UOM

Hi
Thanks for the response
I had a look at breakbulk again and at your other linked post and cant seem to see where it is used to put units of measure back together?
I have units stored in a bin and i want to combine them to make pallets before putting them away
What am i missing?
Cheers

You can use Breakbulk functionality. You will find details in NAV help and WMS learning material.
