All other windows appear to be fine; only the NAV windows are locked up. A simple right-click on the taskbar and choosing Close does the trick, but it's a very frequent and annoying occurrence.
Is there something I can do to work around this other than abandoning task view altogether?
Thanks

We have same problem on 2 Win10Pro machines, only 2 of 70. Do you have any workarround?
At the start, NAV is using about 55-75MB RAM and all other quantities in basic Task Manager are 0. This is without starting any activity - just sitting at the Role Center.
If I simply click the Task View button on the start bar and switch back to NAV, it is locked up, using 29% of the CPU and 44MB RAM. The window will not take focus and I cannot move it around on the screen. Task Manager is working fine at this point. The machine is a Dell OptiPlex laptop i5-7500 with 4 cores; Windows 10 is build 17134; NAV is 7.0.36076.0.
What is the consumption of memory & cpu at that time ?
So far I haven't found anyone at my new place of work who uses task view. I've used various virtual desktops on Windows since Reflection 4 in about 1997. Can't live without 'em.
But the IT manager gave it a shot and it locks up for him too. His NAV closes itself after a few second, but on machine it just sits there (well, for at least 2 minutes - I won't wait any longer than that!). It doesn't matter if I have one window or many open - they are all locked.
I've never experienced this. Do you have the same experience also on another machine?
