Sales Manager Role - Trade Agreements security

I am doing some testing in the Sales Manager role, trying to disable the ability to create the Trade Agreements and allow the role to just view these.

Sales Manager Role contains Maintain Sales Agreement Master duty, I've made sure that all of the Permissions are set to view, yet the test user can still create TA's?

I suspect there's some other duty in this role that is allowing for the TA creation, I just can't find it.

Any tips as usual would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Drumcode,

You can check the table access when you click the Override permissions on the Security administration form. If it indeed still has access, you can open the development environment, find the table, right click > add-ins > Security tools > View related security roles. You then might be able to find the privilege or duty.

Do you have users who need to be able to maintain sales agreements? In that case it might be better to remove the duty and add the duty Inquire into purchase agreement master. If you change the contents of a duty, you might change it for several other roles also using the same duty.

if you can install SDT, you can get rid of tiring practice and it can make your life very easy to do such tasks
