Hello, Can some please tell me where to find the Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) I need to install it and integrate it into my AX 2012R2 environment.
If you are running Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, we strongly recommend that you use the version of the Data Import/Export Framework that is available in cumulative update 7.
to download CU7 : support.microsoft.com/.../cumulative-update-7-cu7-for-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-r2

I am thinking that DIXF is an application to be installed separately. Is the so? I ask this because i read some post that says i first have to make sure that the AX DIXF service is running. on my server, i don't have such service running. I want to know how to use initialize it so i can use it. I can see it(DIXF) under my module menu but then i click and click Data Import/Export Parameters i got all these error.
Please advise how to start using it. thanks much for the help.
1- Have you tried to restart the Server sometimes this works .
2- Please verify all component (Service, Server and Client).
3- If missing install those component from setup file and restart the AOS service.

You can verify if you did install the DIXF components: docs.microsoft.com/.../install-the-data-import-export-framework-dixf-dmf
It needs to be installed seperately. You can find the components on the setup media of Dynamics AX 2012 R2 (as of CU7).
Hello Andre, I have ben trying to solve thie error message since last week but its can seem to find out how to. Because of this, i cannot move forward.... Please help.

I managed to resolve the issue. I had to remove all the .NET framework using control panel-uninstall programs then i download .NET Framework 4.5. Re-run DIXF and it worked fine.

One of my client ha AX 2012 FP1 version and would like to install the DIXF in the system, I saw some post https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/data-import-export-framework-user-guide-dixf-dmf where it is mentioned that I can find it on LCS but I am not able to find the exact path from where I can download it.
