Recalc sales tax on received purchase order

Posted on by 583
Hi

Is there a way (maybe by code) to recalc the tax on a received PO?
I cannot cancel the goods receipt and recreate a new line with correct taxgroups because the receipt are already sold and not on stock anymore

    Hi CRSW,

The invoice posting will use the tax groups as defined on the order lines, regardless of e.g. the tax groups provided for an invoice register. You would need to correct the Tax group values on the PO lines first.

    Hi Andre

So mean whatever the sum is showing after product receipt (was with wrong tax groups) after posting invoice with correct taxgroups on the order/order line the sum and tax value will be correct?
When I try to create a proforma invoice the amount is still wrong so I thought just posting the invoice will not take the correct groups and I want to avoid posting wrong tax

    Hi CRSW,

Do you have a local requirement to have tax posted based on product receipts? Usually, the sales tax is posted upon posting of the vendor invoice. You can correct the tax groups on the order. Then the invoice posting will be able to know what to post for the taxes.
