Hello Community,

I have a request to implement a control that will capture all sales orders that have been picked and packed and are ready to be shipped. So we want to do the packing by item and organize the items in that manner.  For example, 10 sales order with each having 10 items. I would like to generate a summary list after the picking of all these items that will have a summary of the orders picked. ie. order1- 10 items1, 12 item2 and so on. This summary list will now be given to anyone who will be going to pack the goods physically in the warehouse. 

Any idea how I can at least start doing this would be greatly appreciated.

    there is menu called "shipments ready to ship"

    Hi Lionel07,

    There are documents such as picking list which is the summary per order for what has been picked and packing list for the items which have been packed for the shipment.

    Now for 10 orders picked you want a summation of pick list for all the 10 orders summarizing any quantity common in them. based on the report you will consolidate shipments. Is my understanding correct?

    You can use shipping pick list report and generate the same for all 10 orders together if they have been consolidated to one shipment.

    Navigate to warehouse management > Pick list reports >Shipping pick list

    Did you get anywhere with your request, We are also looking for the same information and preferably being printed on the label printer after the picking is finished. So, once all the labels are generated after picking, we wore wondering if a summary of picking (more like packing slip info) can be generated on the label printer itself.
