Production Order Reset Status

Hi:) I need to reset a status of a production order after it reached the report as finished stage. the problem is that each time I try, it resets but keeps the originally produced amount in the finished goods inventory, so when I reset and repeat it again the amount produced is doubled. I need to reset it completely as if it never happened and repeat again from scratch with different dates.. Any clue? I can run as many trials as you suggest as I am working on a test environment.

Thanks in advance:)

    Hello Salma,

Are you on the very latest R3 version?

I am asking this because there have been a number of issues / bugs in older version, for which MS released hotfixes.

Please see the following site for details (requires login)

    Hello Salma,

Do you say that resetting the status has no impact on the inventory and ledger transactions?

What AX2012 version do you operate?

Do you see the same issue if you replicate the process in a different demo/test environment?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
