Dear experts,

I faced an issue that: Eliminate button is grey out on Estimate form,

I already post estimate, my percent of complete is 100%

WIP amount

Project group = Investment

Line property = Capitalized

Hi,

Can you please check that you selected a fixed asset, ledger account or other project in the general form of your estimate?

If this is not the case then you cannot eliminate the project estimate.

OK.

Have you selected 'set the costs to complete zero' when you created the estimate?

The automatic calculation says 0.20 and there might be some costs pending on WIP accounts.

Here is an example how the estimate/eliminate process should work

Hi Lugwig,

I posted all pending transactions for this project and still not able to eliminate.

Automatic calculation i think base on my WBS and actual cost, but it should not be the condition for me to eliminate, since there are some situations that forecast and actual cost cannot be the same.

Hi Thu,

Can you please try creating a new estimate with the following selection:

dynamicsaxfico.files.wordpress.com/.../en_80_0025.png

"Set cost to complete to zero"

Post this new estimate and then try to eliminate it.

I made a screenprint from D365FO.

If you run such an estimate and post it then the elimination button shall be available.

Hi Ludwig,

I did as your suggest but after chose completion method = automatic => percent of completion cannot be edit.

=> Still cannot eliminate the project.

Good morning Thu,

Never experienced something alike.

Might be worth trying to get the MS support or a developer included here to ensure that the behavior you experience is not the result of a bug or incomplete system modification.
