We sell to customers (C) every month. They can buy from us directly or via one or many reseller partners (RP).
Each Reseller Partner will name the Customers with different naming conventions to the way we name a Customer and oftern the Reseller Partner will have the same Customer recorded by many different names.
For example:
Lets call Customer 1 - Customer 1 Limited in our CRM.
Customer 1 might buy from us directly and/or via Reseller Partner A and/or Reseller Partner B.
Reseller Partner A might in the data they give us call Customer 1 "Cust 1" and "Cust A" because different parts of that Reseller Partner might know Customer 1 by dffirent trading names.
Reseller Partner B might also sell our products to Customer 1 and they might call Customer 1 "Customer Apple" and/or "Customer Fish".
I think I need a n:n relationship so that for each customer and reseller iteration of each customer name I can create a field with a unique name so that I can see in forms:-
- which customer has a relationship with which reselling partners and what the value of those relationships are.
We record all Customers and Resellers in the Business Entity field.
How can I create and display a field that can link multiple businesses to other businesses and have relationship keys to enable me to see the joins in say a sub grid ?
Thanks.
