Hi. I'm an ax developer.
We have the environment of the ax2012 r3 version. (Live, Test)
We want to move only the data from Live DB to Test DB.

A typical starting point is looking into AX 2012 documentation. For example: Plan backup and recovery, Back up and recover databases.
You can also find more details in SQL Server documentation.
Before you decide to restore just the AxDB without the modelstore database, think about whether you can do it. If you didn't deploy the whole modelstore, IDs of elements may be different in AxDB and the database from Live wouldn't work correctly with code in Test.
