Hello,

we are upgrading out customer's application. We have finished code upgrade, but we have trouble we data upgrade. Data upgrade cockpit do not find any upgrade scripts, but we know, that there should. In the application are some HFX which were released after CU13, is it cause? How we can force to run data updates from CU8 to CU13? Maybe set application version in th DB... Thank you.

    Hi Lukas,

Could you please do the following?

    1. Share the version displayed in the CU8 version.

    2. Confirm if you restarted the AOS, compiled the whole application and did a full CIL after the code upgrade.

    3. Share the hotfix numbers (released after CU13) installed.

    Hi Lukas,

Please see the old thread and follow Pradeep's solution:

    community.dynamics.com/.../244446

    1. Checked what account SQL server service is running on, it was set to netweorkAuthority something... i changed it to the Administrator account. (right click sql server service ->properties -> Logon Tab check the account).

    2. Restart SQL server service.

    3. Restart Microsoft dynamics Ax service. ( good to have service account set to Administrator)

4.Run Microsoft dynamics ax as a administrator(right click AX client icon then right click run as Administrator)

    5. Run the Presynchronize jobs run as charms.

Check batch table. Make sure you do not have any status 5 or 2.  If you made a copy of the db while batch jobs were running, you would have some records in Batch table with Ready or running status.  If you have 5 or 2, change them to Waiting (1).

Also, check the other common things -

Data Upgrade batch job is assigned to a batch group.

Make sure batch group is assigned to a batch server.

Check the server batch group is assigned to and make sure it is a batch server.

You need to be logged into AX as the "Admin" user as well while doing the upgrade.

    Regards,

Just FYI - Also, there's a later update POST CU13 (Updates through Aug 19, 2019 - contains 1000 + hotfixes after CU13).  You can download that from LCS Updates tile, download the Update installer then after you have it installed, run it and select to download the "Most recent".

    Regards,

    Jackie
