I am unable to install Document Routing Agent (DRA) on Windows Server 2016 (Standard) due to the following error: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations: Document Routing requires .NET Framework 4.7.2

However, .NET Framework 4.7.2 is already installed on this machine.

Further information:

  • Installed Dynamics 365 product version: 10.0.28 (10.0.1265.20)
  • Installed Dynamics 365 platform version: Update52 (7.0.6441.41)

    Hi Plotiv,

If .NET Framework 4.7.2. is installed on the local printer server and you still get this error, I would suggest to log an incident for Microsoft Support.

I'm getting the same error or issue.

I can't update with a service update but I would like to try using ORCA to edit the MSI file to skip the validation of .NET and Adobe.

Does anyone know which lines you need to remove so it doesn't check for those and will continue with the install?
