Maintain multiple SharePoint Sites for one CRM entity

Hi All,

Is it possible to have multiple SharePoint sites configured in Dynamics 365 so that users have a choice to select which site they want to upload the documents?

Hi Preetam,

Yes, it is possible.

Go to Settings > Document Management > SharePoint Sites, new a site.

Then go to Document Management Settings, enable the SharePoint Site URL, next to set the site for entities.

Go to entity form, in the Files or Documents tab, click Add Location.

Select the new SharePoint Site in the Parent Site. Save.

Then we can upload the files to the new SharePoint Documents Location of the new site.

Hello Hao,

Thanks for the information. I have tried this option earlier and the way it work is to "add location" every time for each entity record. I mean, this has to be executed on record level.

What I am looking for is a one time configuration where users just select the document location and upload where they want to, without having them 'add location" for each record.
