Hi there! I'm considering integration with Dynamics AX 2012 R2, R3, and from the proposed options was the Query Service. Is it possible to work via Query Service just only by using - X++ ? Are there any different ways to retrieve data without WCF, X++?
Hi AlexDr8,
You can find all integration options described in the documentation for AX 2012: Integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX | Microsoft Docs
PS. The forum where you posted your question is about migrating from Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365. I have moved your question to the regular Dynamics AX forum.
The query service is a system service that can be called by other applications. You'll use a programing language of your choice, e.g. C#.
Using X++ would make sense in only one case - when you need to call the AX query service from AX too , i.e. you would be connecting two AX environments. That's not what you want, according to what you told us in your other threads.
Hi Alex can you contact me on hardikborad1998@gmail.com to discuss about this integration because i also worked on same integration project as you are.
