License Issue while importing Text file generated for NAV - CRM Integration

NAV_5F00_CRM.jpg

I'm working on NAV 2016 integration with CRM 2016 (Dynamics 365) in Native connector available in NAV.

We have few Custom Fields in Order screen (CRM) and Sales Order (NAV).

I used cmdlet 'NEW-NAVCRMTable' from the following MSDN link to generate the text file:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt574341(v=nav.90).aspx

After generating the text file, tried to import the file into NAV but we are getting license issue. The database is with Developer license only. Please find the attached screenshot for reference. Kindly guide on the above issue whether any steps is missing in the process.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi

The Text file you are importing don't have the field "ModifiedOnBehalfBy" which exists in the table, that is the reason you are not able to import your text file.

do the below to import your text file.

1, export the 5353 table in text format from NAV

2, compare your file and the file you exported from NAV

3, Merge those fields which are missing in your text file and import.

Based on the error message, currently i.e. before import there is a field called ModifiedOnBehalfBy in the table but in the import file that field is missing so it has to delete that field from the table, since the table and field are in a standard object range normally we don't have permission to delete those, you can do that only by importing .fob using merge fields but not using .txt.

The generated Text file contains new fields and the Field No. are not in 50000 series. I guess the importing is stopped because of that reason.

I even tried another method by manually creating the same field in the table '5353' as 50000 series and compiled it. It didn't show any error. Then, I kept those fields in pages '5353' & '5374'. Then in RTC navigated & clicked on the page 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM Sales Orders', the instance automatically closed without any message.

How to import the text file with Field no. of NON '50000' series. Please guide me if we need to any special license for the Text file importing.

Are these fields are part of any specific object add-on ?

You need to check your license
