Comments in dialogs

Is there a way to extract data from the comments section while the dialog is still active? For instance, if the sales team is collecting information from a potential lead, they should input a description of the business into the comments section. I should then be able to update the information in the description field on the lead record. Alternatively, is there a method to hide the entire comments section in the dialog?
I understand that dialogs are deprecated; nevertheless, we are still using them.

Based on the replies in this thread, it is not possible to capture the comments only the response text.

You can mark the comment section with special characters to extract data from it while the dialog is still open. You can use the character "\n" to close a comment section and the character "//" to begin one. At that point, the model will comprehend that the dialog box's comment is merely supplementary data with no primary relevance.

Is it possible to get the comments with a custom workflow activity, the dialog will call the custom activity, and the custom activity should wait until the dialog process is done and then get the data from the comments section?
