Entity Structure of talent

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

One of our customers interested in using talent as their HR tool. We need to present current and future entity structure of the talent for him.  Since Talent is fast changing software he need to know what is the future entity structure will be and will it matches to his requirement. (which are the new entities)

I searched in the internet and found a diagram only for performance management.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/talent/media/hcm_performanceoverviewdiagram.png

Please provide if there is any ER diagram.

    From talent environment goto

System Administration >> Links >>Integrations >> Common data service configuration

Under the administration tab you can find all entities in the list.

You should be able to connect to the PowerBI Desktop: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/business-applications-release-notes/october18/data-integration-platform/overview

But only if you have CDS for Apps (CDS 2.0). If you are still on CDS 1.0 I don't think you have the same possibilities.

The Excel designer surely helped Malin. Also able to download all the Entities by using the Open in Office Option.

    Will try Power Apps.

Does Talent not connect to PowerBi Desktop ?

    Thanks for the help Malin.

    Thanks Malin. That surely helps.

There are quite a few fields in Talent. Difficult to get my head around.

    Thanks again.

    Shri

    Hi Shrikrish,

I haven't seen any full list of all the entities and data fields in Talent, but if you have Core HR you can find the System administration > Links > Office Integration > Document templates/Excel workbook designer - there you can find most of the entities and fields. That is the list that I have found the most information from.

    Or

Go in PowerApps and try to connect to Talent - there you can find the entities and fields you can use for integration.

I tried to list all entities once, but I think there are some missing - Talent is a huge system if you are using all of it, and it is a lot to list.

    Hi Thava,

In the October release you will get the opportunity to create and brand email templates in Attract. You just have to have a bit of patients to get it.

How can different companies be managed in Attract concerning different layouts, templates, branding to the applicant?

    Hi Gongyi X,

    Thank you for the reply.

Are all these entities currently available in talent.

If yes is there any document regarding entities available in future releases?

Is there Entity relationship diagram available for these entities?
