Is there a way to create PDF/A-3 using X++?

Is there a way to create PDF/A-3(PDF version) using X++?
 
If so, could you help me? 
 
I am using iTextSharp.dll to merge a pdf and an XML but when I see the properties of the document it just shows version 1.7. 
but the version required by the client is 1.7 (PDF/A-3b).

    You're right in thinking that you should use a .NET library for this purpose, so the question isn't really about X++.
     
    The library you chose is deprecated, therefore a good idea will be switching to the replacement: iText 7. You may be interested in PDF/A-3 example in iText documentation. Notice the usage of PdfAConformanceLevel.
     
    By the way, pay attention to the licensing model of these two libraries. If you use the open-source license, you must publish your solution as open source as well.
