Hello mates, I would like to send an e-mail to a specific mail address when an opportunity is won. I have successfully made the workflow, therefore i don't receive any mail. Is it mandatory to sync our mail boxes to PSA ? or it use SMTP PSA server to send a mail ? Best regards,
It can be the owner of the flow or it can be sent from a shared mailbox:

Hi Antti,
If we use PowerAutomate, what will be the send from mail adress ? Its a generic Powerautomate mailboxe who will be in charge of this ?
Kind regards,
Not mandatory to have SSS up. Since you use PSA you have PSA licenses or CE Plans. This means you should also be automatically licensed for Power Apps and Power Automate that run in the context of Dynamics 365.
Example 1:Build a cloud flow that sends an email when a PSA opportunity is closed as won.
Example 2:Build a canvas app for time entries.
Both are examples of seeded flows and apps and they can be run with PSA licenses / CE Plans.
Hi Archetype. I'd use Power Automate to send an email. I think it's the easiest solution for creating notifications based on events like oppo close. Also you don't have to have Server Side Sync set up for your environment.
Hello Antti,Thanks for your answer ;). Is it mandatory to sync server side even when using PSA online ? There isnt any generic Microsoft mail that we can use to send mails to our users ? We can't use Powerautomate because we don't have Automate's licenses :( .
