Hello,

I posted a general journal in the legal entity UAT1.

Then, I went to the cost accounting ledger for UAT 1

and run the general ledger process data source

I checked the created journal entries and it is fine.

But I cannot find any cost entries when I cleick Cost entries. Do you have any idea?

    Hi,

The transaction is posted in 2020.

Did you apply a special filter that would exclude this transaction from being transferred?

Do you have any transactions transferred to the cost accounting module or is everything 'stuck'?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello,

Yes I have cost elements transactions in the cost accounting module that have been transferred succesfully. But I don't have related cost entries as shown in the screenshots.

It does the same thing for other general ledger entries posted in Januray 2021. When I check the processing journals in Cost accounting of the type General ledger entry transfer journal, I can see those entries. But when I click on Cost entries, it is blank !

    Kind regards,

    Hello Antoine B,

I think you have marked Enable view access for cost object dimension parameter from Parameters/ General tab so that you can see cost element entries.

If so, you should unmark it because this parameter restrict data to users. Before enabling it, you need to build a proper security hierarchy.

In the documentation, you can find a section about the security model. Here is the link: docs.microsoft.com/.../access-rights-cost-object-controller

If you want to activate security so cost center managers can access but only their own data, follow the guidelines in this document.

    Best regards,

    Natalia

    Hello,

That parameter is unmarked and I can see cost entries that were first imported. When I post new general journals in General ledger and then run General ledger in Process data source, I can see the processing journal but not the related cost entries.

    Kind regards,

Those cost entries sit at the lowest level of the cost control units, i.e Profit center but I have an SSBL as well for those GL entries. So I don't understand why there is nothing at the SSBL cost control unit level ?

I need a P&L by SSBL and profit center and that's why I set this control units hierarchy.
