Adding dates for Power BI Date Dimension for D365FO

Posted on by 29

Hello all,

a lot of reports/charts that are related to Power BI in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations do not work properly because of missing dates in Date_ dimension related table

Checking table BIDATEDIMENSIONVALUE in AxDW database showed it is filled with dates until 31-Dec-2022.

How to fill the date dimension table BIDATEDIMENSIONVALUE with other dates until 31-Dec-2023?

Thanks a lot in advance,

    Hi,

You have to go Organization Administration\Setup\Calendars\Date Dimension

Place the correct date interval and afterwards close the form. Open the form from the menu once more and the dates will be populated
