After applying the KB4018372 on user machine, the CRM 2016 plugin displays "Waiting for a page to be retrieved from a CRM server..." instead the data.

User machine is Windows 10, Office 2016 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016, before the KB4018372, we were using the registry key workaround and the plugin was working fine, but after the KB installation the issue came back.

What is the workaround for this situation?

    Hi Rlmendes_tcs,

To fix this issue add a registry key to the local client machines running the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Outlook application. Install the key through direct registry edit or via Group Policy in your organization. For Microsoft Outlook 2016 the registry key is:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security] "EnableRoamingFolderHomepages"=dword:00000002

Restart Microsoft Outlook after this registry key is added to the local client.

Already did it. With or without the registry key we are facing the same behavior. Before the last update the plugin was working fine. Did you understand my point?

We are having the same issue after 14th August 2018 security update for Outlook 2016. We have tried everything.

Microsoft suggested this fix in the link below but it is not working.

I recently came across this problem and found that the steps in this article support.microsoft.com/.../august-office-insider-update-waiting-for-page-issue-dynamics-for-outlo resolved the issue for me.

As with the earlier issue, a workaround is described which is to change a setting in Options for Outlook:

Under File > Options > General > User Interface Options > When using multiple displays select  "Optimize for compatibility"

I think that this only applies to Outlook versions 2016, build 16.0.10730 and later.

    Then restart Outlook.
