SBA - Can't Create Sales Invoice - "Unable to save. The transaction is not assigned to a batch."

Hello all!  So far I've found the Service Based Architecture pretty easy and straight forward.  However, creating a salesinvoice has been difficult for me.

The error i'm getting says I need to assign it to a batch.  I don't see anywhere in the helper how to create a batch.  So I retried creating the invoice and put in some random Batch ID, in hopes it would create it for me.

Unfortunately it says now that the batch id does not exist.

How do I create a batch using SBA, so I can use that ID to create some Sales Invoices?

I don't think you can create new batch from SBA, just an idea after reading about SBA over

    community.dynamics.com/.../service-based-architecture

But since you are the one using it, I would like to know your finding about it.

Thank you Almas.  It appears as though you are correct.   This is very disappointing because there's no way to find a batch ID either.

you can create a custom SanScript procedure to create Batch in your dictionary  and then expose the procedure as service operation. it is not difficult.
