1099 changes for 2020 on R3

Hi everyone,

In the past Microsoft has released updated 1099s. I am not seeing anything in LCS for the changes in 2020 regarding the new 1099-NEC for 2012R3. Will MS be releasing something on this or am I missing something?

Hi SergiPB,

I didn't find any hotfixes changes on LCS to help support for the 2020 1099-NEC for AX 2012 R3. It is released only for D365 finance and operation.

Did you raise the support ticket to MS?

Hi SergiPB,

The team is working on getting the 1099-NEC changes pushed out for AX 2012 R3. We are hopeful it will be complete and published to LCS soon. You can track the issue in LCS at the below link.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone advise me, how will we update the data from MISC-07 to 1099-NEC? This needs to be done manually or the hotfix will take care of this?
