Hello,

When you post the invoice of a sales order, can the posted date be updated with today's posting date and not the document date the order was created at.

Can the due date calculation be from the posting date (today's date)?
I have the same question (0)

Hi, Regarding the Default Posting Date setting, you can change settings in Sales & Receivables Setup, but please note that there is no "Today" setting. However, if you change the Working Date to today's date, it should meet your needs.

If your requirement is that the invoice posting date is automatically updated to today every time you click Post, this needs to be customized.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

You can turn on 'Link Doc. Date to Posting Date' in Sales & Receivables Setup.

In this way, whenever you change the "Posting Date', the 'Document Date' will follow thus, re-validating the 'Due Date'.

As Yun Zhu mentioned if you're looking for the posting date to automatically change to today's date when you post an invoice this will have to be customized by a developer, its not something the system does out of the box.
