Hi Everyone, 
 
I am new to the Dynamics 365 F & O application, but not to Cycle Counting. 
 
I am looking for a guide on how to set up cycle counting by LOCATION. 
 
Also, if there are any special system access requirements, that too would be helpful. 
 
If anyone has a link they can add to this question, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Did you try the Cycle Count Work by Location screen?  Filter by location ranges?

    Cycle counting can be setup by location by adding the warehouse location as a filter in the cycle counting query parameter.

    By specifying the Location field in the query criteria, the system will generate cycle count work only for the selected locations.

    Hi,
     
    You can use below two options to create counting work by location in case you want to count using mobile device and your warehouse is enabled for advance warehouse management. 
     
    1 - Cycle counting plans 
    2 - Cycle count by location 
     
    Cycle count plans - In the cycle count plans you scan filter the locations on the top and execute the plan which will generate counting works only for the locations selected. 
     
     
    Cycle count by locations - Use the dedicated option which is designed to generate counting work by filtering locations.
