You have Setup encumbrance accounting, right?
How is your budget control configuration setup? (which dimensions are included and controlled)
Have you created a budget register entry for the very same account-financial Dimension combination that is used with your PO?
Some additional Information would help.

Yes encumbrance account is set up. My budget control configuration has the same dimensions as budget register entry (Main account + Business unit + Department)
Now what i have done is created new budget register entry with the same dimensions and try to apply that to the PO, however this time it did not perform the budget check and confirmed the PO.
Was there is any issue with budget register entry or any config is missing ?

Hi Patrik,
There are a couple of hotfixes related to budget control and encumbrances available on LCS. See e.g. fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../Results;v=7_5&i=2_1_3_4&ct=1_3_5_4_2_6&ft=1_2_3&cu=&pi=&pm=&pc=&x=30&y=8
Can you check based on your systems version whether the one or the other hotfix might resolve your issue?
