Can we re-target visitors to different web pages based on their earlier visit parameters, leveraging Dynamics Marketing?

Posted on by 41

Re-targeting people in the sense, if someone visits a company's public website, specifically certain pages. Therefore, if someone visits a particular page (page 1), can we grab their IP address and be able to direct them to a different page next time they visit? This will be a page that we can customize; for example, to “Second time visitors” and it may be a different page that encourages them more to buy the company's product?

    Hello Veena,

There is no out of the box way to implement this behavior with the Dynamics Marketing App. However this should be able to be accomplished with java script code on the website. If you are using an Event Portal from Microsoft Dynamics portals, every time you perform an form submission it will create an cookie on the browser. You could eventually use that to help with the setup. Grabbing IPs from visitors is not something that be done from our tool as it is not GDPR compliant.

    Best Regards,
