AX 2012 - Error "CLR: The processing date must be earlier than the expiration date."

Hi,

The error in Subject gets thrown when we run batch job 'Create direct debit or repayment journal'.

I think this is not a standard AX function, but a small finger pointing me in the right direction would already massively help me. I do not know where to find the dates that block this job, i do not know if it is a specific invoice that contains incorrect dates or AX is somehow trying to create a journal containing incorrect dates or something like that.

Can anyone nudge me in the right direction?

    Hello Raf DR,

    Can you check AR/Comon/All Customers and open the direct debit mandates tab? If you select a mandate and click on edit you should be able to see an expiration date. This seems to cause you the problem. Please note that you cannot change the date later on and thus need to setup a new mandate if required.

    Ah, yes. That was exactly the direction I was hoping for.

    I changed the signing date of the mandate in the AOT and the expiration date automatically changed so that the expiration date of the mandate > processing date of the invoice and then the journal could be created without any issues.

    Only problem was that the error did not show which mandate was blocking the job, so I had to look for which customer contained a mandate that would expire before his invoice would be processed.

    But anyway, thanks to your direction the problem was solved.
