Upgrade Toolkit

Hey guys

I am at that point of the upgrade to 2013 R2, where I have to run Upgrade - New Version.

When I click on "Transfer Data", I'll get the following error:

Does this mean, my license can not do this upgrade? I have a partner and developer license (600 NAV SPA/MPN Partner Module, 7300 Solution Developer). Do I need the Country Code License from my local country or is W1 enough? The license is W1, the DB is CH..

Cheers

Raphi

    Hi Raphi,

Based on the date (23.04.2002) I presume these are legacy objects that ended up by coincidence in the same range as the toolkit objects (?)

    Hello Corina

Yes it should be, because it is marked for deletion from the Toolkit (it has the ID 104011):

I will do the test update again and will check where this object will be imported.

I found this ID in this blog http://saurav-nav.blogspot.ch/2012/12/nav-2013-upgrade-part-iv-sql-migration.html, but I never imported a file called Migration.fob.

    Hi Raphi,

I don't seem to find this table in the toolkit...

Could you please double check if the table is actually part of the upgrade toolkit?

    Hello

I've got a valid license now!

I am at the last point where I have to delete this upgrade toolkit. But now I get the following error:

"Cannot delete the Code Field Information table from the nav2013r2 database because it contains data in the  company" (there is no company)

What is the problem? When I open this table, there are a lot of entries in it.. Can I delete all of them (like the upgrade time log)?

I tried it again with our license from the beginning and it does not work (now I get the error at the CF Old Version in 2009R2).

So it seems I need a different license where I can access these upgrade objects..

    RE: Upgrade Toolkit

try first to start with a nav 2009 r2 demo database (ch) and check if you can upgrade it to nav 2013 r2 without error.

if that works you can go further.

    RE: Upgrade Toolkit

UPGW is the version code of the upgrade objects.

    following msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh997129(v=nav.71).aspx

table 5055252, part of the cash flow feature, sould have name "Liquidity Comment", which is in nav 2013 r2 replaced by table 842 "Cash Flow Account Comment"

in your case table "Temp Liquity Comment" has the same object id 5055252 and a different version code (customization). so, it seems, there is a problem with the customization and the according permissions.

what has this table to do with executing the codeunit? I can't even design this code unit..

My developer license is uploaded to the database, I checked it in the windows client.
