Hi

We have two domains A and B. Both are full trusted and Dynamics Ax 2009 (App, AOS, client) and SQL server 2005 (Sharepoint, EP and role center ) are installed on two servers on domain A. Users are from Domain B are imported in Ax 2009. Ax client are installed for domain users A and it works fine but for user from Domain B Ax client is installed but when i try to run from client PC from domain B i am getting error message "connection with the application object server could not be establish" i also runn telnet IP_AOS_Server 2712 and it is working fine. Port 2712 are open. i am getting reply on ping (AOS and SQL server) from domain B. i have installed Ax client on domian B from shared folder on AOS server (Domain A).

What should i need to check to get access to Ax from Domain B. I tried EnterproPortal and they have access to data and every thing is working fine.  regards,

Jensen H.

is there any message in the event viewer on the AOS?

if you start an AX client from domain A with run as with a user from Domain B, you get the same issue?

can you start AX on the AOS server with a user from Domain B?

    please keep me informed

    Hi Friend,

I am also passing through same issue..."AX 2009 access in trusted domain"

I am not able to connect to from domain B to the AOS installed in Domain A.

Can you provide some more light on this.

    Many Thanks

    Sandy

    Henrik,

Is Active Directory configured in native mode and is Kerberos enabled across both domains?

Make sure both domains exist in the same domain forest and have a two-way trust. You will also need to verify that both domains are running in Native Mode or Windows 2003 Native Mode.
