Hi,

I am using the below query to get posted hours of employees during a certain period. However, the reports take too much time to process. Is there any way that I can make it to print faster?

there are around 500+ Employees in a single entity and currently, the report is taking almost an hour to process for a single entity.

Hi ShahzaibAhmed52,

How many transactions will be printed on this report? Is this a query-based report or a report with a data provider? What exact tables are used as the variable names do not literally correspond to standard table names.

You can use the trace parser to check what exact database or x++ calls will consume most of the time. Thereafter you can check if the SSRS report can be improved on its performance.
