Hello,

Regarding the Fixed Assets setup,

I need to start depreciation for 2018 FY, I have already finished all the posting relating to FA for 2017, However I did't closed the 2017 year since some other transactions are pending to post, My problem is,

If i change the Fixed Assets Setup - Allow Posting date to 31/12/2018 will it impact on 2017 year closing procedure??

Hi,

as Paras said, it will not impact your year end procedure, but make sure you leave 'Allow Posting From' in 2017 as closing procedure will generate entries for C31/12/2017.

No, it will not impact on year closing procedure.

you can set it as 31-12-2018.
