New development-AX 2012-Suggestion please

Hi All,

Greetings.

I have got a  new requirement where due to Coronavirus, all employees temperature will be taken twice a day (temporary till the situation is stable)

I can create a new table and form and provide a excel button to import the temperature against each employee

I would like to know your opinion on the same. I am using AX 2012. 

Is there any other idea to capture the temperature(i would have to utilize the new table and new form as the requirement sis temporary)

please let me know how to go ahead with this temporary requirment.

    Agreed. Am speaking with them on same. I agree as it doesnt make sense to utilize and create new objects for temporary situations. thank u for your time

    I do agree with Ludwig. Why do you want to use an ERP system for temporary health checks? Can't you simply keep the data in Excel?

    Hello NDingankar22,

    Why do you want to use AX2012 - an ERP system for processing business transactions - to track something for which I cannot directly see a business relationship?

    Do you plan to make this adjustment for a company that provides temperature measurement services?

    Would be great if you could provide some additional background information on this requirement.
