Hey,
On our external CMS, we are using an embedded Dynamics Marketing form which has a field called 'Country'. This is a look-up field which refers to a separate country entity where the names are stored. This works well in CRM and we finally have it working on our embedded forms (still a little bit slow unfortunately...).
However, we were wondering if it is possible with some scripting to filter this list as to only show several pre-defined countries? We ideally would like to edit the forms for each region so that potential customers in that region only see countries that are relevant to them. Off course we could create a lot of fields with custom option sets and map that with flow/workflows to update after each submission, but it would be much nicer if a simple filter query could fix this as well.
Hopefully somebody has some suggestions :)
Hi Niels,
From my test by using inspector, I found that items of list of lookup field will change dynamically based on what we input in the field.
Hence it might not easy to add script to customize it.
If there are only several pre-defined countries, you could try cascading form fields to set relationship between two option set fields.
Of course, you still need to run a flow to map the selected option to corresponding country record of lookup field.

Clofly
