Hi there,
I have a bunch of accounts need to allow account entry. Is there any way I can do a one shot, instead of one by one?
Thanks
You could do it through a SQL script or an integration tool like SmartConnect from eOne.
Joe
Thanks Joseph, where I can find detailed instructions?
Hey Iris,
There are no steps listed to do this. The supported approach is to do this in the Account Window. If you would like to try this in SQL, the table you want to look at is the GL00100. The column in this table is ACCTENTR.
I do not see any problems doing this. However, this is not supported so please test in a test company and verify this has no unexpected repercussions with your day-to-day processes and reporting.
I hope this helps!
Thank you!

Another way to do it without using SQL is to utilize the Macro feature. Record yourself doing one, open the macro in Word, do a mail merge with your list in Excel, save the new macro and run it. That's the simplified steps in case you're interested. This method applies the business logic as if you were manually pulling up each account and marking it.
