Error after Benefits enrollment eligibilty processing

I am testing D365HR benefits module and am aware that the managers work dashboard will arrive in Dec2020/Jan2021

At the moment I am trying to create Benefits with open eligibility for everyone
Once I go through the -Enrollment eligibility processing - I get this process results as inelgible
The reason is The worker's annual salary amount has not been defined

Went through all possible settings and values (incl. compensation) and unable to find the cause. Is it a known error by any chance?

There might be various reasons but here are the most likely causes for the error message:

Either the employee doesn’t have fixed compensation/annual benefits compensation defined as of either the employees start date OR the beginning of the benefit period.

Example 1: The benefit period is 1/1/2020 -12/31/200. The employee was hired BEFORE 1/1/2020. When eligibility is run we will look at the employee compensation as of 1/1/2020 to calculate insurance coverage amounts. If the employee doesn’t have a fixed comp plan on 1/1/2020 you will get the error.

Example 2: The employee is a new hire and needs benefits. They started AFTER the beginning of the plan (5/20/2020) so we will look at their employment start date to see when they should have a compensation record. If they don’t have a compensation record on 5/20/2020 we will give an error.

If that did not solve your issue, please log a support incident as we would have to look into your set up in a greater detail.
