
I am in the process of implementing DAX in German at my company for sales and shipping, and have a problem/question.
Our customers with their addresses are installed in AX
For the contacts that belong to these customers, there is currently no extra address in the contact information, as in our old system this was not necessary.
My DAX advisor is now telling me that if I want to prepare a mail merge document for printing (not emailing) on all contacts in for example a particular country, then I need to have an address for each contact. This seems like double work to me. First I need an address for the company, and then I need to reenter this address for the contact.
Is this really true, or is possible to link a contact person with the company address or perhaps another solution.
Would appreciate advice here.

You should be able to import the address using ContactDetails table and linking it to your Cust ID from Customertable.
